Nitinol separation actuators are hyper powerful actuators designed to shear the head off of a titanium bolt.  Originally sold under the brand Frangibolt, they were developed as an alternative to explosive bolts.  In addition to being free of FOD, these actuators provide another benefit that, since they are reusable, they can be tested prior to deployment.  Our separation actuators are designed to withstand 100 cycles to give you plenty of testing life before deployment.  If you need a size that we don’t have on hand, request a custom order.
