  • Description

Torsion springs are optimized for producing rotational motion.  Some possible use cases are:

1. Use two torsion springs working against each other to create two-way motion control.

2. Use a biasing spring to work against the nitinol torsion spring

3. Use a two-way shape memory torsion spring to create bidirectional movement from one part (note: two way springs are not a stock item and must be custom made)

Springs are specified by mandrel size (inside diameter), wire size, number of wraps (number of times the wire is wrapped around the mandrel), and transition temperature.
